New AZG Program: Sunday Evening Zazen at 4pm

Sunday May 18, 4pm
(weekly on Sundays moving forward)

As we enter the summer season AZG will be offering a new event on the schedule. Please join us at 4 pm each Sunday for a 30-minute period of zazen. The start date will be May 18 and it will be a recurring weekly activity. So far, we have three people willing to host this and more hosts are welcome to help.

This schedule is for zazen only and will not include the service that typically takes place after meditation. We hope this alternative time may help people who may not be able to participate in the weekday AZG schedule. This is a wonderful time to get more comfortable with zazen if this practice is new for you. And of course, the more experienced will welcome this wonderful way to start a new week. We will sit together quietly with the stillness of the zendo, with nothing more than just the very simple opening and closing bells. This event will have the same zoom option as many other AZG practice offerings, found on our homepage and here.

If you have any questions about the Sunday zazen period at 4pm each week, or if you would like to host one evening a month, please contact Chris at info@arcatazengroup.org.
