Volunteers Needed: Sangha Support Net

The Sangha Support Net is compiling a list of volunteers who are willing to offer their services to sangha members and their families. The Sangha Support Net is a community of care that offers support during times of illness, loss, recovery, and other important life transitions, as well as celebrations such as Jukai, marriages, births, and house blessings. Volunteers will be asked to attend periodic group meetings for guidance and support, facilitated by Mary. The types of services we would like to offer include:

• Coordinate meals, rides, errands, or other short-term practical support

• Help organize ceremonies and celebrations

• Offer computer assistance

• Serve as a point of contact for requests while helping ensure confidentiality.

• Meet occasionally with the team to coordinate and strengthen this practice of generosity.
