Update from the Teacher Search Committee

Dear Sangha,

Thank you all for taking the time and care to participate in the activities around Andrea Thach’s visit in February.

The teacher search committee is soliciting feedback about this visit. You may access our online survey HERE. There are also paper copies available in the zendo and library. Please complete the survey by Monday March 9.

Our second teacher candidate, Andy Acker will be visiting March 20-23. The schedule will be posted when finalized. There will be opportunities to sign up for 1:1 practice discussions and potlucks with him as well. After his visit we will provide the same feedback survey.

After we have all had a chance to spend sufficient time with all applicants the TSC will again request your feedback. The TSC will use your feedback to provide a formal recommendation to the board, which will ultimately make the decision to contract with a new head teacher.
